Full Excavation Exterior Waterproofing Systems
Exterior waterproofing is the most comprehensive solution available — stopping water before it contacts your foundation wall. We excavate to the footing, apply a rubberized polymer membrane to the exterior foundation face, install dimple-mat drainage board, and backfill with clean crushed stone to redirect surface water away from the structure.
We use SilkOate, UMARK, and other commercial-grade membrane systems — not the paint-on damp-proofing that deteriorates within a few years.

Poured-Wall Crack Injection & Block Wall Repointing
Poured concrete foundation cracks are repaired from the interior using high-pressure polyurethane or epoxy injection — the appropriate chemistry depends on whether the crack is actively leaking or dry. Polyurethane foam expands into wet, actively leaking cracks and cures flexible, accommodating minor future movement. Epoxy injection is used in dry cracks where structural bond restoration is the goal.
Block wall repointing involves removing deteriorated mortar joints to a minimum depth of 3/4 inch and repacking with waterproof hydraulic mortar.

We install a minimum 20-mil reinforced poly vapor barrier over the entire crawl space floor and seal it up the walls to the sill plate — then seal all vents, install a conditioned air supply or dedicated crawl space dehumidifier, and spec a sump system if groundwater is present.

Sump Pit Construction & Dual-Pump Waterproofing Systems
The sump pit itself matters as much as the pump. We construct 18-inch diameter pits with a gravel bed at the base for proper water collection, sealed lids to prevent vapor and radon entry, and a discharge line that terminates a minimum of 10 feet from the foundation at a positive-grade daylight point.
For finished basements and properties with high groundwater, we recommend a dual-pump system: a primary submersible at normal operating level and a pedestal backup set two inches higher.
